Arkansas Traveler Tomato
Incredibly delicious, this classic pink heirloom is known widely because of its distinct flavor and solid dependability.
Brandywine Tomato
Brandywine's luscious flavor is known as "very rich, loud, and distinctively spicy." The large fruits, often over 1 lb., have deep pink skin and smooth red flesh. Celebrity Tomato
This variety is know for being a large, smooth, high-flavor fruit. The celebrity tomato was created by Phil Wilbur in 1809.
Debarao Tomato
Italian plum type. Good for processing and saladette uses
Oaxacan Pink Tomato
The name of this variety comes from it's city of origin, Oaxaca, Mexico. This is a wonderful slicing variety, although the limits are endless.
Rutgers Tomato
One of the most popular canning and slicing variates. Rutgers became the most famous tomatoes worldwide and once made up over 70% of the tomatoes being processed in the US. It was originally developed by a Rutgers University for the soup industry. Sometimes known as the Jersey Tomato. This variety was even used by NASA in the Seeds In Space program.
Taxi Yellow Tomato
Heirloom tomato with smooth, round, baseball size fruits. Prolific and sweet flavored.
Yellow Perfection Tomato
A rare English heirloom with sweet fruit of luscious lemon yellow. Very tasty and juicy.
Bean Varieties
Beans have been a food staple for thousands of years because of their high nutrition. They are loaded with flavonoids, vitamin K, vitamin C, manganese, vitamin A, fiber, potassium, and folate. Including beans in your diet helps to develop strong bones, maintain blood pH, and metabolize proteins and fats. They are wonderful as a sautéed side dish, or you can create one of the classic bean casserole - whatever your imagination desires. You can store beans in the refrigerator, wrapped in a plastic bag, for up to 5 days.
Haricot Vert Max Beans
Gourmet beans known for their great flavor. This variety it best eaten fresh.
Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans
A heirloom variety introduced around 1864. This is one of the all-time green bean favorites.
Provider Beans
As with all of our selections, this variety is known for retaining it's flavor after picking. The Provider beans are stringless and just need to be broken or the ends removed. You can steam them, sauté them, or slow cook them - you can prepare as you would any green bean.
Eggplant Varieties
Eggplant is a versatile staple in Italian, Southeast Asian cuisines. It can be baked, roasted, pickled, mashed or dried. Eggplants are full of potassium, manganese, and they are great source of fiber.
Fairy Tale Eggplant
This variety is known for being tender and sweet, and for not having any bitterness. Fairy Tale eggplants are great for marinating, grilling whole, stuffing, and stir fries
Ichiban Eggplant
A variety originating in Asia. Very flavorful and tender. Excellent for Oriental dishes. Also great for grilling and roasting.
Rosa Bianca Eggplant
Prized by chefs. Considered one of the best Italian varieties with a delicate, mild flavor, creamy consistency, and no bitterness. Excellent for slicing, stuffing, and baking.
Mixed Green Varieties
Bursting with nutrition and rich in dietary fiber, fresh greens can be eaten raw in salads, steamed, braised or cooked in soups. Mixed greens are known for their carotenoids, vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C, folate, and manganese.
Mesclun Salad Mix
Makes a zesty salad. Mix includes Mizuia, Komatsuna, Green Wave, and Osaka, Purple Mustards, Arugula and Persian Garden Cress.
Mesclun Spicy Salad Mix
A potpourri of color, shape, taste and texture. Mix includes Arugula, Red Russian Kale, tres Fin Endive, Ruben's Red Romaine, Piret, Formidana and Simpson's Black Seeded Lettuces.
Cucumber Varieties
Originating in the East Indies, cucumbers have been cultivated for over 3,000 years. They can be used in salads, pickled, pureed for a cold soup or as salad dressing. Cucumbers are a great source of vitamin C, molybdenum, vitamin A, and potassium.
Diva Cucumbers
Diva just might be the best-tasting cuke on the planet. Diva looks like a regular salad cucumber but with a much smoother, thin, no-peel skin. Distinctly tender, crisp, sweet, bitter-free, and seedless.
Marketmore Cucumbers
Sweet-great for salads. Long, slender, dark green cucumbers. Since 1970 the slender, refined "Marketmore look" has been the standard for slicing cucumbers in the North.
Broccoli Varieties
Broccoli evolved from a wild cabbage plant on the continent of Europe. Indications point to the vegetable's being known 2,000 years ago. Broccoli is high in vitamins C, K, and A, as well as dietary fiber; it also contains multiple nutrients with potent anti-cancer properties, such as dindolylmethane and small amounts of selenium. A single serving provides more than 30 mg of Vitamin C and a half-cup provides 52 mg of Vitamin C. Broccoli consumption has also been shown to be beneficial in the prevention of heart disease.

Pepper Varieties
Peppers offer great flexibly in how they can be served, whether they are stuffed, eaten in salads, or added as spices. Raw bell peppers add color and flavor to salads, salsas, and crudite platters. Rich in carotenoids, Vitamin C, A, B6, and good as a source of fiber. Peppers are a great source of antioxidant and an important immune system booster.
